Local Louisiana towns, forgotten backroads, sunrise chases across state lines, long nights behind the wheel, strange encounters, quiet moments, and the beauty that only reveals itself when you slow down and let light speak.

Film forces you to earn it.

I’m turning the entire year into a book called GRAIN — a raw, honest, physical archive of the places I go and the truth I find there.
And I want you to help me make it real.

What is GRAIN?

GRAIN is a year-long photography project shot entirely on film—no digital safety net. At the end of the year, I’ll turn it into a physical, printed book. Your preorder funds the journey.

What will be in the book?

Film photos from a full year of travel, local exploration, long nights, early mornings, backroads, small towns, city grit, landscapes, portraits, storytelling opportunities—whatever the road gives me.

When will it ship?

After the year of shooting is complete, then:

  • Development

  • Selection

  • Layout/design

  • Printing and shipping
    I’ll give updates during the year, but plan for 12–15 months for full completion.

Why film?

Because it slows me down.
Because it forces intention.
Because the grain is the truth.
Because I need to feel something real again.

How do preorders help?

They literally fund:

Will my name be in the book?

Yes — all supporters are printed in the back as Founding Supporters. Patrons and higher tiers get special placement.

Is this limited?

Once the preorder window closes, that’s the print run. That’s it.
